How it works

In four steps from registration to payment

You register once. After that the jobs come to you, on your phone.

  1. Sign up

    You provide your trade, your service area and how we can reach you. Certificates and the rest are optional.

  2. Getting acquainted and agreeing

    We will contact you and agree your price. You read and sign the collaboration agreement, so that everything is on paper in advance.

  3. Job offered

    You get a link with the location, what needs doing and photos from the customer. You choose: yes with your price and a date, no, or ask a question first.

  4. Work order and payment

    After the job you fill in the work order on your phone. PandFix invoices the customer and creates your settlement. Payment within 14 days after approval.

You never have to create an invoice yourself. PandFix creates the invoice on your behalf for each job (an invoice issued by the recipient) and you see the settlement via the job sheet link. If you have no objection within 7 days, it is approved and PandFix pays within 14 days, provided the job sheet is complete and the work has been properly delivered.

You choose where you work

We use your service area to offer you jobs that suit you. Choose all of the Netherlands, one or more provinces, or your place of residence with a radius of 10 to 150 km.

Honest about the number of jobs

Most requests come from the Haaglanden region: Delft, The Hague, Zoetermeer and surrounding areas. We also receive requests from the rest of the Randstad, Utrecht and Gelderland, and are currently looking for tradespeople there. We don't promise a fixed number of jobs anywhere: you see for yourself which jobs are available in your service area.

What we ask

Who suits PandFix

Most of these agreements are in the collaboration agreement that you read and sign before your first job.

  • Chamber of Commerce (KvK) registration: you work as a freelancer or with your own company, not as an employee
  • Insured: you have professional liability insurance (AVB)
  • Experience in your trade, own tools and own transport
  • A complete job sheet with before and after photos for every job
  • Additional work first via PandFix: you don't agree a price with the customer
  • The customer remains PandFix's: no own business cards or quotes, including for 12 months after the collaboration

What tradespeople ask us

What will it cost me?

Registration is free. The cooperation agreement contains no registration fees, no subscription and no costs per request. PandFix charges the customer a price, you receive the price we agree with you in advance.

Who decides what I earn?

We agree this together in advance: a fixed price or your hourly rate plus call-out charge, excl. VAT. For an offered job, you set your own price.

When will I be paid?

PandFix prepares your invoice per job; you'll see it via the work order link. If you raise no objection within 7 days, the invoice is approved. PandFix pays within 14 days of approval, provided the work order is complete and the work has been properly delivered. This is stated in the collaboration agreement.

Do I have to create invoices myself?

No. PandFix issues the invoice on your behalf: an invoice issued by the customer. You include this in your own administration and you remit the VAT yourself. If you prefer to invoice yourself, we will agree this in writing.

How many jobs will I get?

We don't promise that, because it depends on your trade and your service area. Most requests currently come from the Haaglanden region. We use your service area and your trades to offer you jobs that suit you.

May I refuse a job?

Yes. For each offer you choose: yes (with your price and a date), no (optionally with a reason), or you ask a question first. You work as a freelancer and may refuse a job.

Will I receive the customer's details?

PandFix handles contact with the customer. In a quote you see the location, what needs doing and the customer's photos, but no name, address or phone number. What you need for the appointment, you get from PandFix.

May I approach the customer directly later?

No. A customer who comes via PandFix remains a customer of PandFix, including for 12 months after the collaboration. You do not give out your own business cards, numbers or quotes.

What if there's additional work?

You report this to PandFix first, with a photo and your price, via the work order. PandFix asks the customer for approval. Only in emergencies to prevent damage, such as a leak, do you do what's necessary immediately and report it the same day.

Do I need to be insured?

Yes, professional liability insurance (AVB) is mandatory. You are responsible for your own work, tools and safety. If you cause damage, you report it to PandFix immediately and arrange it with your insurance. Certificates such as VCA or F-gas are not mandatory; you can provide them when you register.

Am I tied into anything?

You sign a collaboration agreement for an indefinite period. Cancellation is always possible, including by e-mail, with 1 month's notice. You complete jobs already in progress. You work as a freelancer, not as an employee.

Do I need to install an app?

No. You receive a personal link to the PandFix Technician app. It opens in your phone's browser and you can add it to your home screen, on iPhone and Android.
