A blockage that keeps coming back, gurgling drains or a sewer smell that won't go away: the cause usually lies deep in the pipe. With a camera inspection of the sewer, we look inside your drain and sewer and see exactly what's wrong and where — without breaking anything, and without guesswork.

Not unblocking again, but finding the cause
Unblocking clears the pipe again. But if the problem lies in the pipe itself, that's only short-term. A camera inspection shows why your drain keeps blocking, so you can get it done right once and for all.
We feed a small waterproof camera through an existing opening — an access point, drain or the toilet drain — through the pipe. You can watch on the screen. We see whether the pipe is intact, whether it has subsided or shifted, whether roots are growing in and how far from the opening the problem is. Trouble with your drain? Call 070 783 0224.
- Subsidence & saggingWater and waste remain standing: the source of recurring blockages.
- Break, crack or displaced socketIs sewage leaking into the ground, or will something grow into it later.
- Root ingressTree roots seek out the moist joints and slowly fill the pipe.
- Grease, limescale and objectsBuild-up or something that doesn't belong, precisely located.
Signs that the cause runs deeper
Do you recognise any of these situations? Then inspection is cheaper than continued unblocking.
Blockage that keeps returning
Is the drain blocked again within a few weeks after unblocking? Then there is almost always a cause in the pipe itself: subsidence where dirt accumulates, a displaced joint or roots.
Call directlyGurgling drains & sewer smell
Does the toilet bubble when the washing machine pumps, or does it smell of sewer in the house? That indicates a partial blockage or a problem with gradient or ventilation further along the pipe.
Call directlySlow drainage in multiple locations
Are the shower, kitchen sink and toilet all draining slowly at the same time? Then the problem isn't in one trap, but deeper in the stack or the external sewer.
Call directlyPurchase or renovation
Buying an older property or building an extension, patio or driveway? A camera inspection beforehand prevents you from later finding a subsided or broken sewer under new paving.
Call directlyFrom kitchen drain to outdoor sewer
Every drain has its own weak spots. These are what we encounter most often.
Kitchen drain
Grease and food residues cool down in the pipe and form a layer that becomes increasingly thick. Unblocking helps, but the camera shows whether there is also subsidence where the grease accumulates.
Shower and bathroom drain
Hair and soap are the usual cause. If the water remains standing after cleaning, then the gradient of the pipe may not be correct — you can only see that with a camera.
Toilet and soil stack
A toilet that backs up or gurgles may be due to the toilet itself, but also to the soil stack or the connection to the sewer. In flats and upstairs or downstairs properties, this also affects the neighbours.
Outdoor sewer & inspection chambers
On soft peat and clay soil such as in The Hague and Delft, external sewers subside over the years. Water and waste collect in the subsidence, and that's where the next blockage starts.
Is the drain now completely blocked? Then we'll unblock it first — see drain unblocking & sewer — and then use the camera to see what caused it.
In 4 steps from problem to cause
A clear approach, so that afterwards you know what's wrong and what it will cost to fix it.

Frequently asked questions about sewer camera inspection
What is a sewer camera inspection?
We insert a small waterproof camera through the drain or sewer. On the screen we see the inside of the pipe and exactly where a subsidence, fracture, root ingress or build-up is located.
When is a camera inspection useful?
For a blockage that keeps recurring, bubbling drains, sewer smell in the house, water draining slowly in multiple places, or before you buy or renovate an older property.
Does anything need to be broken for the inspection?
No. The camera goes in via an existing opening, such as an access point, inspection chamber or the toilet waste. Only if something really needs repairing do we open up precisely at the spot we've seen.
Will I receive a report of what you saw?
Yes. You watch along on the screen and we record the findings with photos and the location of the problem. You can present that report to your landlord, owners' association (VvE) or insurer.
Who pays: tenant, owner or owners' association (VvE)?
That depends on where the problem is and on your contract. That's exactly why the camera is useful: our report shows where the cause is, so it's clear who is responsible.
What does a camera inspection cost?
That depends on the situation and whether the pipe needs to be cleaned first. You'll hear the cost in advance; call 070 783 0224 for an estimate.
Fixed price agreement
You hear in advance what the inspection costs. If the pipe needs to be cleaned first, we tell you that immediately.
