- Type and output — a boiler for heating only, or also for hot water (combi boiler), and how much output your home needs.
- CW class — how much hot water the boiler can deliver. A household with a rain shower or bath requires a higher class than a one-person flat.
- Same location or relocate — if the boiler stays in the same place, the work is simpler than when pipes, gas and flue have to be moved too.
- Flue and air supply — sometimes the existing flue can stay, sometimes it needs to be adapted or replaced.
